FAQs

How quickly will my party bags arrive?

Orders are prepared and dispatched within 24 hrs of payment receipt (excluding weekends & bank holidays) and will arrive with you within 3-5 working days.  Should you require an express delivery service then please choose this at the checkout.



Who will deliver my order?

Orders are processed and dispatched by Special Additions Party Bags Ltd who use a tracked courier service to ensure that your party bags arrive with you safely.



How will I know when my party bags will be delivered?

You will receive a message to advise you when your party bags have been dispatched. If there are any issues that may cause delay in delivery then you will be contacted in the first instance via telephone. If they are unable to reach you then an email message will be sent. Deliveries are made Monday-Friday up to 8pm (excluding Bank Holidays). A tracking reference will be provided so you can trace your order on-line.



What if I’m not in when my party bags are delivered?

If there is no-one available to accept the party bags when they arrive then a card will be left at your chosen address with details for re-arranging delivery or collecting from your local depot. Couriers may also use their discretion upon arrival as to a 'safe place' for leaving your parcel which will be notified via a delivery card being left though your door.



Can I request for my party bags to be left with a neighbour or in a ‘safe place’?

It is standard practice for the courier to try a neighbour should no-one be available at the delivery address. We can however add instructions to leave your party bags in a ‘safe place’ if this is your preference. Please note however that these requests will be followed at the drivers discretion.



Who is responsible if my party bags go missing from a ‘safe place’ delivery request?

If you have requested your party bags be left in a ‘safe place’ and the courier carries out your request then it is your responsibility should these subsequently go missing following ‘delivery’. In the unfortunate event of this happening then a claim on your relevant insurance would be necessary to reclaim costs.
